It is being organized in the face of the ongoing debate about the impact of Dancehall music, especially among young people. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Industry specialists on the panel, which will explore the various facets of Dancehall, include: Dr. Dennis Howard, Ethnomusicologist and General Manager Radio Services \u2013 RJRGLEANER Communications Group; Mr. Clyde McKenzie, well-known cultural analyst and award-winning music producer and artiste manager. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">They will be joined by the Rt. Rev. Robert Thompson, Suffragan Bishop of Kingston, who will present the Christian perspective.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">The youth voice for the Diocese will be represented by Mr. O\u2019Dayne Plummer, Advisor to the Anglican Youth Fellowship at the Church of The Holy Spirit in Cumberland, Greater Portmore.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman', serif;\"><span style=\"font-size: medium;\">Mrs. Imani Duncan-Price, youth advocate and Co-Executive Director of the Caribbean Policy Research Institute (CaPRI), will be the Moderator.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Dancehall music and its influence in the Jamaican society will be the focus of a Public Forum to be hosted by the Youth Ministry Division of the Diocese on Tuesday, April 11 at 6.00 p.m. at St. Luke\u2019s Church, Cross Roads.
