{"id":13300,"date":"2018-06-14T09:00:54","date_gmt":"2018-06-14T14:00:54","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/?p=13300"},"modified":"2020-11-08T12:44:15","modified_gmt":"2020-11-08T17:44:15","slug":"social-media-in-the-church","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/copy\/social-media-in-the-church\/","title":{"rendered":"SOCIAL MEDIA IN THE CHURCH"},"content":{"rendered":"<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>KINGSTON &#8211; JULY 7, 2018 COURTLEIGH HOTEL 9am &#8211; 3pm<\/div>\n<div>MANDEVILLE &#8211; SEPTEMBER 1, 2018 &#8211; MANDEVILLE HOTEL &#8211; 9AM &#8211; 3PM<\/div>\n<div>MONTEGO BAY &#8211; SEPTEMBER 29, 2018 &#8211; HOLLIS LYNCH HALL(Sml a\/c room) &#8211; 9am &#8211; 3pm<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>Brother&#8217;s &amp; Sisters<\/div>\n<div>The Communications Board embarked on a mission of serving the wider Diocese through Social Media.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>We are seeking to create a network of volunteer Roving Reporters who will function as extensions of the Social Media desk, by recording and capturing via video or photography, relevant events that take place within your church and cure.&nbsp; Each submission should be accompanied by a short description of the event.&nbsp; Roving Reporters are also encouraged to submit full stories for which they will be given print credit, if the story is used.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>All content intended for posting by the Diocese must be submitted to the Social Media Officer and the Communications Team for review and approval prior to posting.&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>To be considered as a Social Media Roving Reporter they will be required to participate in a 1-day training session that will outline methodologies, techniques and compliance standards that must be strictly adhered.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>We seek your help in providing suitable candidates in your region\/church\/cure who are willing and able to participate and become a part of the Communications Team.<\/div>\n<div>&nbsp;<\/div>\n<div>The training sessions will have a short presentation on the&nbsp;<b>Diocesan Code of Conduct<\/b>&nbsp;while the main facilitator for Kingston is <b>Miss Cleo Walker<\/b>&nbsp;a<b>&nbsp;<\/b><b>Marketing Communication Consultant&nbsp;<\/b>graduate of CARIMAC.
