{"id":11261,"date":"2018-01-06T09:19:13","date_gmt":"2018-01-06T14:19:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/?p=11261"},"modified":"2026-01-08T15:45:03","modified_gmt":"2026-01-08T20:45:03","slug":"epiphany","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/copy\/epiphany\/","title":{"rendered":"Epiphany"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div dir=\"auto\">\u201cIn Him and through faith in Him we may approach God with freedom and confidence.\u201d (Ephesians 3:12)<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div dir=\"auto\">The Epiphany (manifestation) of Jesus Christ to the (non-Jewish) world, celebrated in liturgical observances on this day, January 6, serves as a reminder to the Church, of the great privilege that is ours, to not only approach God\u2019s throne of grace, but to do so with boldness.&nbsp;<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div dir=\"auto\">Based on the day\u2019s readings (Isaiah 60:1-6; Psalm 72:1-7,10-14; Ephesians 3:1-12 and Matthew 2:1-12), God\u2019s plan of salvation: of revealing the light of His presence to the created world, was put into effect long before the incarnation.
