The foundation of our Anglican faith and worship is based on&nbsp;the Scriptures and the Gospels, the Apostolic Church and the early Church Fathers. Learn more about <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/?page_id=821\">What it means to be an Anglican<\/a> &#8211; and how you can be too. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/?page_id=50\">Our History<\/a> in Jamaica dates back to the 1800&#8217;s. Our Diocesan Bishop is the Rt. Rev. Leon Golding.<\/p>\n<p>You can easily find a Church near you to visit by browsing through our Church listing.&nbsp;Churches are listed in parish order and the parishes form&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.anglicandioceseja.org\/?page_id=34\">deaneries<\/a> with the exception of Portmore which <em>is<\/em> a deanery.
