The Synod is the governing body of the Church and meets every year. It is \u201cempowered to make decisions concerning the government of the Church in the Diocese. The chairman of Synod is the Diocesan Bishop and the Synod itself is comprised of the Suffragan Bishops, all members of the Clergy, the Chancellor, the Registrar, two elected members from each Cure and other lay members appointed by the Bishop. Policies and laws for the Diocese are decided at Synod.\u201d<\/p>\n
